Spellslingers aren't all robed, elderly men with crooked staffs and beards you could use as a winter blanket. Dungeons & Dragons: Complete Mage helps break some unfortunate stereotypes by offering more feats, prestige classes, and alternate rules than any sane person could ever use.Posted: November 16, 2006

Could it get any better? Perhaps, but it would have to try pretty dang hard. There's also a plot about an evil sorcerer, mythic treasure, ancient evil, and all that stuff. But the real draw of Conan and the Reavers of the Vilayet is apparent right on the cover. Pirates. With barbarians.Posted: November 06, 2006
Wine is fine, but a whole lotta wine is even finer. And that's the entire idea behind Weinhändler. Be warned, though. Building the grandest wine cellar of them all is no small task. Especially if you don't stop "sampling" the collection . .Posted: November 05, 2006
Unlike some other gods I could mention that are ready to end the world in some betentacled frenzy at the drop of a hat (provided the stars are right), this Here Be Monsters: Plush Quetzalcoatl is actually a fairly pleasant house guest. Does tend to molt, though.Posted: November 04, 2006
